Disney+ will be launching later this year, and Marvel Studios is already taking advantage of it by creating two limited series, ‘Loki’ and ‘The Vision and Scarlet Witch.’
Via That Hashtag Show, there are unverified rumors that the ‘Vision and Scarlet Witch’ series may be inspired, at least in part, by the recent limited Vision comic book series written by Tom King. Reportedly, King’s series could be tweaked to have Wanda step in as his wife and have their two comic book children replace the synthezoid children.
Additionally, King recently indicated that he had stepped away from his duties writing the ongoing Batman comic book to spend a couple of weeks working on a secret television project. While the two may not be related, there’s is a possibility Marvel Studios at least consulted with King on how to rework the book into a series.
Charles Murphy had his own rumor to add on the ‘Loki’ series:
It’s been reported that Tom Hiddleston will return to reprise the role of Loki, but it seems that the series may find him narrating the events of his own life, presumably from the afterlife (Valhalla) following his death at the hands of Thanos in ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ This opens up all sorts of story-telling possibilities and is consistent with the original reporting on the show which indicated it could take place at any time during Loki’s considerably long life.
This could open the door to Kid Loki, and onward to the Young Avengers. Vision and Wanda’s children, Tommy and Billy, became Young Avengers Speed and Wiccan while Kid Loki was a driving force for the team. Will these rumors come to fruition, we’ll just have to wait and see!
