Feb 11, 2019

Season 3 of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ will begin on Wednesday, June 5. It will start with three new episodes, then one episode every Wednesday afterwards.

However, that means that the series will not be eligible for the 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards. It won Best Original Drama for its first season, with its second getting a nomination. But considering ‘Game of Thrones’ will be airing its final season this April, they lucked out.

A little peek into what to expect for the upcoming season:

“The third season of the drama series will follow June’s resistance to the dystopian regime of Gilead and her struggle to strike back against overwhelming odds. Viewers can expect to see startling reunions, betrayals, and a journey to the terrifying heart of Gilead that will force all characters to take a stand, guided by one defiant prayer: ‘Blessed be the fight.’”

Hulu also uploaded another teaser on Twitter, this time announcing the date:

Moreover, Bruce Miller serves not only as creator, but also executive producer and writer.
