‘Titans’ Season Two Adds Esai Morales to Play Deathstroke

The second season of the DC Universe series ‘Titans’ has cast Esai Morales to play Deathstroke. This marks the third portrayal of the character in recent years. The first was Manu Bennett in CW’s ‘Arrow,’ then Joe Manganiello in Warner Bros.’ ‘Justice League.’

Morales has an impressive resume, with over 100 credits in his career. Some shows he was in as of late include Netflix’s ‘Ozark,’ Amazon’s ‘Mozart In The Jungle,’ HBO’s ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.’ There’s also CBS’s ‘Criminal Minds,’ ABC’s ‘How to Get Away with Murder,’ and Nat Geo’s ‘Mars.’ As for film, he was in 1983’s ‘Bad Boys,’ 2006’s ‘Fast Food Nation,’ and 2017’s ‘Superfly.’

Additionally, the character’s official description is below:

“Slade Wilson is known for being DC’s deadliest assassin. While serving his country, Slade became an elite soldier before government testing enhanced his physiology to near superhuman levels, putting him on a path of darkness and revenge. To his family, Slade is a father and husband, but to the rest of the world, he is feared by many as the infamous Deathstroke; selling his services to the highest bidder as the ruthless assassin that never gives up and never misses.”

‘Titans’ hails from Greg Walker and Geoff Johns. The cast includes Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Ryan Potter, and Teagan Croft. Further, the entire first season is available on DC Universe in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
