What was your first Cosplay Experience?
My first cosplay experience was at Otakon 2010. I wore Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII. It wasn’t a very complicated cosplay I wanted to keep my first one very simple. No wig, no contacts just the basics. I had so much fun walking around as one of my favorite characters from Final Fantasy and running into other FFVIII cosplayers. It was the start of a wonderful journey.

How long have you been Cosplaying?
I have been cosplaying for 5 years.

Who or What inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
I was actually inspired by seeing all the other cosplayers out their having so much fun! Seeing all of them walking around the conventions talking and laughing making new friends. Also, seeing the level of skill some of these cosplayers have is mind blowing.

If you had to pick a favorite Cosplay you have worn or see someone else where What would it be?
This is a tough question. If I had to pick one I would say my favorite is my Rapunzel cosplay. This costume took me 9 months to put together and was stressful but I am so happy with the result! I also love her personality, when I am Rapunzel I get to be bubbly and dance around like a little kid. It is so much fun being the lost princess!

If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
If I had unlimited funds and resources the cosplay I would create my Demon Hunter armor from Diablo III. My demon hunter is beyond dected out with all these intrecate armor pieces from head to toe. Its a dream cosplay of mine and I do hope to make it some day even if it is in small sections.

What advice would you offer others who are aspiring Cosplayers?
The best advice I can offer all of the other aspiring Cosplayers is don’t let anyone keep you from cosplaying. No matter your shape, size, race, disability etc. Everyone can cosplay. Go out there and give it your all, strut your stuff and show all those haters that no matter what they say you are going to do what makes you happy! Cosplay for you and no one else!
