I grew up as a gamer. But these days I play only casually. Sometimes weeks go by without my fingers on a controller or in the WASD position. Over the years I’ve built a fond and proud relationship with my memories of my more pronounced gaming years. I love to collect memorabilia and, generally, they’re all of characters in serious poses. The Stubbins are the exception. They’re cute and cuddly, even if they model serious characters. Props to Bethesda for partnering with Innex, makers of The Stubbins, to add a little bit of “cute” to their more serious characters.
The Keeper – The Evil Within
Literally there is a sack on the back of this guy and the idea is it’s full of severed heads. Meanwhile his little hands don’t have fingers. Adorable!
Emily Kaldwin – Dishonored 2
One of the heroes from the world of Dunwall, the Stubbin-ized version of Emily Kaldwin features a sweet mask and lovable eyes.
Dragonborn – Skyrim
Look at these horns! It’s amazing how easily recognizable this Stubbin is with his helm and other armor. The detail work here is really strong. The chest armor and gauntlets are perfectly representative of Skyrim.
Vault Boy – Fallout
Even if you don’t play Fallout, you do recognize Vault Boy. He’s one of the most iconic characters in all of video games. He’s been artfully recreated as Stubbin. I love his bright blond hair when contrasted with his blue and yellow jumpsuit.
