‘Nobody,’ the upcoming violent vigilante thriller starring ‘Better Call Saul’s Bob Odenkirk (which is a sentence I never thought I’d type out), gained two new additions today with ‘Wonder Woman’s Connie Nielsen and ‘Back to the Future’s Christopher Lloyd.
From Collider, Nielsen and Lloyd will be playing Odenkirk’s wife and father, respectively. Odenkirk himself will be playing protagonist Hutch Mansell, a man who is neglected as a neighbor, husband, and father. A nobody.
Until one night, a home invasion ignites his heretofore unknown simmering rage, and starts him on a brutal journey into his dark and mysterious past.
‘Hardcore Henry’ director Ilya Naishuller will helm the project, with ‘John Wick’ writer Derek Kolstad penning the screenplay. Universal Pictures will distribute the film, releasing it on August 14, 2020.
