Victor Fries has everything that he ever wanted and will do whatever it takes to keep it.

Nora Fries is awake and alive. As Victor tries to take the next step in her transformation, Nora refuses and tells her husband that she wants to experience the world she’s missed being on ice. At the same time, Batman and Alfred run into a dead end in their research to cure the women Freeze kidnapped. In order to find answers, Bruce will have to go to WayneTech and enlist Lucius Fox to help him.

Unfortunately, both parties will come together again when Fries breaks into WayneTech in order to find a compound he left there that will change he and Nora’s lives forever.

Tomasi pens a tight and entertaining detective story in this issue. It was enjoyable to see how Nora would react to the world and Victor and what happens to her, in the end, adds a new layer of story to both Freeze and Batman. It’s going to be interesting to see where this story goes next and how the new dynamic established in this issue plays out in the future.

Doug Mahnke delivers some incredible art throughout this issue and everything from the characters to the backgrounds is filled with brilliant details.
