Colleen McGuinness is best known for her work on ‘30 Rock’ and ‘Friends From College.’ James Dale Robinson wrote Starman for 7 years and multiple Justice Society of America comics. Melissa Carter has written multiple episodes of ‘Queen Sugar’ and ‘Famous In Love’. Taylor Streitz has written four episodes of ‘NCIS: New Orleans’. Evan Ball and Paula Sevenbergen are both making their TV writing debuts with ‘Stargirl’.
Geoff Johns is serving as showrunner and Brec Basinger stars as the titular character. Yvette Monreal (Wildcat II), Jake Austin Walker (Brainwave Jr.), Angelika Washington, Henry Thomas (Dr. Mid-Nite), Joel McHale (Starman), and Lou Ferrigno Jr. (Hourman) will also appear in the series.
