What was your first Cosplay Experience?
This is my first cosplay, but I have been interested in cosplay for a year or so. My family has always been involved in costuming. My parents are relatively nerdy, and they have won several awards for their cosplays.

How long have you been Cosplaying?
This is my first cosplay, so I’m very new to the field. My Harley Quinn cosplay took around four months to complete.

Who or What inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
My parents first introduced me to the art of cosplay. As I grew up, I became more and more interested in various fandoms, which motivated and inspired me to pursue what I had seen my parents master.

If you had to pick a favorite cosplay you have worn or seen someone else wear, what would it be?
One of my all-time favorite cosplays is Linda Le’s gender-bent portrayal of Nightwing. Ever since then, I’ve wanted to do something similar.

If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
If I could create any cosplay, I would most likely construct a Big Sister costume from the first-person shooter game Bioshock.

What advice would you offer others who are aspiring Cosplayers?
Although I’m new to cosplaying, I’ve always kept my ideas within reason. I know what I can and can’t do within my budget, and I know that I won’t be able to completely recreate every aspect of any costume. With that said, it’s also important to try your absolute hardest. All of the effort put into your costume will show once you put it on.
