Marvel Comics

As the mutants adjust to their new way of living, we see that complications can arise. When Northstar is at home one evening he senses the death of his fellow mutant sister – Aurora. Unfortunately for him people doubt his intentions so it’s up to him to prove her death so she can be resurrected. Alongside him the mystery include fan favorites such as Polaris, Daken and Rachel Summers.
I must admit, this was a very fun single issue to read. It was reminiscent of a scooby doo Cartoon in which a team of likable characters team up and try to piece together a mystery. I really like the LGBTQ+ representation in the team in which at The writing was on point and Leah Williams made sure every character has their own time to shine, particularly with Daken whom we see a different (yet oddly fitting) side to. Baldeóns art also compliments the writing very well. However I did find the pacing of the issue to be a bit rushed, however since this meant to introduce the team and their motives I doubt this will be a problem later on in the run
X-Factor #1 this was a very exciting first issue and ultimately another reason as to why you should be following what the mutants are up to at the moment.
