We’ve seen this film on the horizon a few times over the past year or so but haven’t heard much about Batgirl outside of a script is done and its happening. Well now we can make it official as The Hollywood Reporter drops news that the Christina Hodson pinned Batgirl movie has founds its directors in Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah who you may know from Bad Boys for Life.
Currently their are next to no other details on the film other than it appears to be centered on Barbra Gordon and will be headed straight to HBO Max and will be produced by Kristin Burr. You may also speculate that the film will have some ties to The Flash will Hodson also pinning that movie and bringing back Micheal Keaton who could possibly play mentor to the new Batgirl in the HBO Max film
Time will tell what WB truly has in store for Barbara Gordon but its exciting to see these projects are still moving forward.
