The Siaviala S6 Portable Triple Monitor is a sleek and thoughtful addition to any travel setup, particularly for those who truly need multiple monitors. The Siaviala S6 provides two 15.6″ monitors that can surround or compliment your single laptop monitor, which only works because of the very well designed stand. The monitors could have better quality screens, which is my only complaint. Siavala could have easily withheld the stand, cables, and travel bag and still charged $300+. Instead, they provided everything necessary to make this setup work, at $399.

Build Quality and Design:

The two 15.6-inch displays are housed in thin, lightweight frames that are perfect for travel or even a clean desk setup. The aluminum alloy exterior adds durability while keeping things lightweight—a must for a portable monitor. I particularly liked how it didn’t feel fragile despite its slim profile, making it a good choice for on-the-go professionals

Despite its slim profile, the build feels durable and high-quality, thanks to the sturdy materials used. Plus, the magnetic cover not only protects the screen but also doubles as a stand, keeping everything secure and functional. The cumulated weight is the problem. If you were to take one monitor and the travel stand with you, it’s really not that much to carry. But once you add the stand and second monitor, it’s quite a heavy package. If you need this setup, you probably won’t mind.

Display Performance:

I really wish the screens were brighter. I think the 1080p resolution is plenty, but the screens are dim. Most users will be editing photos or videos, or will be deep into spreadsheets and documents. In the case of the latter, you won’t need heavy brightness or contrast. But in the case of the former, you absolutely will. The good news is whether you use Windows or Mac OS, this is a plug and play experience.

Versatile Connectivity:

Thankfully, the Siaviala S6 has wide compatibility with multiple devices. It supports Android phones, Windows and Mac OS, as well as gaming consoles like the Switch, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, PS5, Xbox, and more. I don’t think gamers are the target demographic, but this compatibility speaks to the simplicity, in most cases. If your laptop doesn’t have two USB-C ports, Siavala included the cables you need for alternate connections.

If you can take advantage of the easy plug-and-play setup (meaning you just carry two USB-C cables), this setup is fabulous. Otherwise, you can connect the monitor using a USB-A plus an HDMI cable, with no need to download drivers or extra software.

When I connected the monitors to my ROG Ally X, using just two USB-C cables, everything immediately worked. But I’m certain the battery of my Ally X would drain so quickly that it’s just not worth using this setup. But it’s great to have the option to take just one monitor with me.

Multiple Working Styles and Flexibility:

The Siaviala S6 isn’t just a basic screen extension—it’s designed to adapt to your workflow. With multiple working modes, you can switch between landscape, portrait, or a combination of both, depending on your needs. The monitor also supports pivot adjustments with its flexible sleeve support, allowing you to angle the display anywhere between 0° to 235°. This level of customization is perfect for users who want to fine-tune their work environment for maximum comfort and efficiency.

Conclusion:

The Siaviala S6 Portable Monitor is quite a cool setup. For what you need to make it all work, it’s slim and lightweight. It may be too much for a cafe, but I know my developer and admin friends would love something like this when they’re on site with a customer.
