What was your first Cosplay experience?
My first cosplay experience was back in 2009 when I went to my very first anime convention. I was looking for an excuse to dress up as Princess Peach and thought it was the perfect opportunity. I hadn’t even known what cosplay was at the time. I just thought it would be fun to dress as a character I have loved since I was a child.

How long have you been Cosplaying?
I have been cosplaying since that very first convention in 2009 I mentioned above. So, around 7 years.

Who or what inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
I really can’t say anyone really inspired me to cosplay though my Grandmother is a wonderful seamstress and inspired me to discover my own sewing abilites. Once I started sewing it kinda just grew from making pillowcases to making ballgowns and such!

If you had to pick a favorite Cosplay you have worn, or have seen someone else wear, what would it be?
I have to say that I really don’t have too much of a favorite when it comes to my cosplays, but my cospartner Morningstar Cosplays has done quite a few that I adore. If I had to pick just one though… her Frost cosplay from Mortal Kombat slays.

If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
I honestly don’t think I could pick just one… I’ve always wanted to make a full suit of armor. My armor skills aren’t that great though, but I’m working on it. I would definitely need unlimited funds for how many mistakes I would make!

What advice would you offer to those who are aspiring Cosplayers?
Be yourself and don’t ever let anyone tell you that you aren’t good enough to be a part of this hobby because that’s what it is… a hobby. Cosplay who you to want when you want to and have fun!
