Today Nintendo announced that it will be releasing a new Nintendo Direct on Thursday, March 3. Nintendo has explained that this Direct will be covering upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles that are planned for launch through Summer 2016.
This announcement comes after last week’s Pokémon Direct, in which Pokémon Sun and Moon for the Nintendo 3DS were revealed along with a Holiday 2016 release window.
What games will Nintendo talk about?
Part of the excitement of Nintendo Directs comes with the anticipation of new reveals and new updates on the company’s most anticipated games. Below are some titles that we can expect to hear about:
Pokkén Tournament (Wii U)
Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS)
Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice (3DS)
Bravely Second: End Layer (3DS)
Star Fox Zero (Wii U)
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past (3DS)
Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (Wii U)
Of course, Nintendo almost always dedicates a portion of its Directs to Indie games available on the Nintendo eShop. And who knows? Maybe there will be some surprises, as well.
