Paramount and Actor Brian Tee who will play the Ninja Turtles arch nemesis: The Shredder in the upcoming sequel TMNT Out of the Shadows, took to twitter recently to reveal the new look of the villain. As a TMNT fan since birth I have to say I am very pleased with this interpretation of Shred Head, not only does his outfit reflect, it also modernizes the classic character while embracing his Eastern heritage. Unlike the version in the original 2014 film, which was partially white washed in favor of William Fitchner, before paramount course corrected with Tohoru Masamune. Another plus is the Brian Tee this version does not look like a giant CGI swiss army knife Transformer! Instead the Brian Tee version seems very reminiscent of the interpretation of the villain from the 2003 Ninja Turtles cartoon, while probably not intentional I like seeing the reflection of that version here as that show and incarnation is very under rated TMNT fandom.
TMNT Out of the Shadows hits theaters June 3rd, in the mean time please let us know what you think of the new Shredder in the comments below!
