The Elder Scrolls Blades Mobile – E3 2018

Jun 11, 2018

During last nights E3, Bethesda’s Todd Howard dropped us with a surprising gem in that the Elder Scrolls is going mobile.  He mentioned that Fallout Shelter had more downloads than any of the games combined which is huge.  So why not add the Elder Scrolls lore to a mobile game. Unlike Shelter, this game uses the true power of modern Smart Phones and is actually a fully functioning Scrolls game.  In the below presentation, you can see the demo and gameplay in both portrait and landscape mode which is a first for mobile games of this nature.  Showed off on the beautiful iPhone X, this game promises to be a huge hit and the gameplay looks profound.  Bethesda promises that the game will have console quality graphics and gameplay.

A MASSIVE, FIRST PERSON ROLE PLAYING GAME CREATED FOR MOBILE.

There are three modes to play; Arena, Abyss, and the main campaign, Town.

“Whether you’re journeying through the single-player campaign, going for your personal best in the Abyss or striking down real-world challengers in the Arena, Blades features multiple ways to play – both in terms of your hero and your personal control preferences.
Blades supports both a two-handed landscape control scheme and a one-handed portrait setup, should you need a free hand to enjoy a cup of coffee or discreetly slay some goblins during a dull meeting. All you have to do is rotate your device!”
