Today, Variety is reporting that Captain Kirk himself Chris Pine is in talks to co-star in Wonder Woman opposite star Gal Gadot. While many thought that when Scott Eastwood signed up for an unspecified role in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad it was reported he might be up for Steve Trevor in the Wonder Woman solo film. Well now it’s reporting that this is the role Chris Pine is actually up for. Many know that Steve Trevor has been the long time love interested of Diana Prince until the New 52 when she and Superman became a romantic couple.
Chris Pine has long been on DC Comic fans wishlist to actually star as a rebooted Green Lantern since Ryan Reynolds won’t reprise the role of Hal Jordan in Justice League. It’s kind of unfortunate but him appearing in the DC Cinematic Universe could still be great….
