The ever-growing cast of Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming has just added another actress to its ranks.
Jona Xiao, who has appeared in a few episodes of AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire joins the cast which features Tom Holland as the web slinger, Robert Downey Jr, Marisa Tomei and Michael Keaton.
Details on Xiao’s role are being kept under wraps (suprise?). So lets speculate who she could be. At 27 years old, and joining the cast this late on in production. It most likely rules her playing anyone with great significance—unfortunately. I’d have loved to have seen her in a race reverse role as Gwen Stacy (if she was young enough), but instead we’ll probably see her as Kenneth Choi’s characters wife.
