Not much in the way of details concerning this casting update for Avengers 4, but TheWrap reports that 13 Reasons Why actress Katherine Langford has nabbed a role in the sequel. However, who she is playing and the size of the role has yet to be determined. Fan speculation will likely take over here attempting to suggest she could be playing a superhero, even though the role could be as small as a waitress or bystander. We’ve seen the smallest roles get blown up to massive franchise parts, only to be disappointed and are encouraging to keep expectations realistic.
The Russo Brothers recently announced Avengers 4 had wrapped filming, so there is a good chance Langford has already completed her scenes.
Marvel Studios has set the film’s release date for May 3rd, 2019.
However, there is an expectation that the film’s release will be bumped up to late April 26th, like with Infinity War as to become a global release (to avoid spoilers leaking too early).
