According to HN Entertainment, Paramount’s potential franchise starter ‘Infinite’ is eyeing to film this August. It will possibly shoot in the United Kingdom, and wrap sometime in either November or December. The film is based on D. Eric Maikranz’s novel ‘The Reincarnationist Papers.’ Therefore, other potential locations could be Los Angeles and Rome, as those are cities in the book.
Additionally, Chris Evans is in negotiations to star in the film. His most recent film ‘Knives Out,’ from Rian Johnson, is now in post-production. This year, he reprises his role as Captain America for ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ releasing April 26. But before ‘Infinite,’ should he sign on, he will be on-set for Apple’s upcoming series ‘Defending Jacob,’ filming in late March in Massachusetts.
The premise of ‘Infinite’ is below:
“A group of near-immortal men and women who are reincarnated over the centuries and known as “the Infinite.” To defeat an evil mastermind who wants to destroy the planet, the group must rely on a man who suffers from schizophrenia and will have to learn that all his vivid dreams are actually memories from past lives, in order to defeat the villain.”
Moreover, Antoine Fuqua (‘Training Day,’ both ‘The Equalizer’ films) is directing. The screenplay is from Ian Shorr (‘Trenches,’ CBS’ ‘Training Day’), with revisions from John Lee Hancock (‘The Blind Side,’ ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’).
‘Infinite’ does not yet have a release date, but it will most likely come out summer next year.
