Production on the upcoming DC film slate is gearing up. First we have filming on Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman begin soon with Justice League filming directly after. But along with that production on The Flash starring Ezra Miller and Aquaman starring Jason Momoa is picking up as well. Last year we had heard that DC Comics called upon 300 writer Kurt Johnstad to pen the screenplay for Aquaman. Well, that seems to only be half true.

According to The Hollywood Reporter screenwriter David Leslie Johnson has been tapped to do the script with help from Kurt Johnstad. David Leslie Johnson is best known for penning Wrath of the Titans another mythological film from 2012. Fast and Furious 7 director James Wan has been tapped to direct.
