Aussie Actress Louisa Mignone Auditioning For ELEKTRA Role In ‘Daredevil’ Season Two?
Comic Book Movie has caught-wind that two actresses may have posted audition tapes for a Daredevil season two role, which more than likely could be for Elektra. We haven’t heard confirmation that Elektra would be apart of season two, but she was established in college flashback scenes in season one. The possible audition tapes have been since removed, but it’s hard not to imagine that Marvel might have been behind that.
One of those two actresses is Australian stage and screen actress Louisa Mignone, who just happens to have a role in the upcoming sci-fi horror action flick Infini which stars Luke Hemsworth, the brother of Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth, already a Marvel connection. Her role in Infini seemingly mirrors Mike Colter‘s work on the Halo series, who was recently cast as Luke Cage. Considering this is Marvel Television, and not the film division they could be interested in new faces for these types of roles. Not to mention that hiring rising talent leaves less baggage and gives a chance to see new additions shine.
I’m getting Elektra vibes from Louisa, but it does sound like she isn’t the only lady auditioning for this part. We will keep you posted on any development concerning the casting for season two.
Daredevil season two will be airing on Netflix sometime in 2016.
