Aliens: Defiance #6 Dark Horse Script by: Brian Wood Artist by: Tristan Jones Colors by: Dan Jackson I have been following this series since it came out, and this is one of the closest representations of what an Aliens story should look and feel like. This arc has it all; Colonial Marine grunts just doing… Continue reading Sci-Fi Terror and Horrifying Art, an “Aliens Defiance #6” review
Author: Cory Anderson
Born in Boston MA, raised in NH. Fully functioning adult who happens to read any and every comic under the (yellow)sun. Of course there are the favorite comics I must read when they're released, but any comic is fair game in my eyes. Of course my love for pop culture doesn't end with comics, but branches out to movies, toys, video games and most importantly Dungeons and Dragons (which I withheld this last hobby from my Fiancée until she said "Yes").
Point of Origin for my nerdy condition may have been in '93 when I got slimed at Nickelodeon(now closed), and a teenage accident or two(collapsed lungs) landing me in the hospital around the same time the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies started coming out. When my dad stopped at the local comic store and brought me the essential comics for Spiderman and the X-Men, I stood no chance. (Which also created a secret aspiration to start a fundraiser of sorts to bring comic books to kids in hospitals to keep their spirits up(nothing has come of this to date)) Add in a heavy dose of trip to Disney World, upcoming Disney themed wedding and a career aspiration to become a Disney Imagineer, I think it's safe to say I never want to grow up.

A Monstrous Adventure in “Monster of the Week” Issue 1
Monster of the Week, Issue 1 Written by: Ryan Little Art by: Mike Vasquez Color by: Joe Hogan A self-described “giant monster/kaiju book in the wonky tone of Adventure Time” is the most accurate description a creative team has ever put forward for a new book. This comic book doesn’t take the Pacific Rim approach of… Continue reading A Monstrous Adventure in “Monster of the Week” Issue 1
Terrificon 2016 was Beyond Terrific!
Connecticut’s Terrificon has come and gone. But the lasting memories, along with the physical loot, still are fresh in my mind as well as my companions that I brought along on this quest. I have always loved Batman, and since I have been collecting comic books, of particular meaning to either me or to the… Continue reading Terrificon 2016 was Beyond Terrific!

Special Issue #21, A Meet and Greet with Bob Camp (Interview)
While at Terrificon, I got a chance to meet one of my favorite animators, Bob Camp co-creator of Ren & Stimpy. Before every Comic Con event, I like to do a little research on who will be there doing signings, partly to see if I have any comic’s they worked on, and partly to educate… Continue reading Special Issue #21, A Meet and Greet with Bob Camp (Interview)

Godzilla: Rage Across Time #1 IDW Written By: Jeremy Robinson Art By: Matt Frank What if Godzilla was older than we thought? What if all those great cataclysmic events throughout history weren’t great natural disasters such as a tsunami wiping out an invading force? That is what this series is basing its premise on. A… Continue reading A Timeless Monster, a “GODZILLA: RAGE ACROSS TIME” #1 (Review)
