Feb 26, 2017

On Friday, Omega Underground discovered a casting call that confirmed a previous report from Scottish outlet The Daily Record that Marvel was looking to shoot Avengers: Infinity War in Scotland for six months.

The outlet is back with more details concerning on the extensive production taking place in Edinborough and Glasglow. We now know what studio space will be used while the production takes place in Scotland.

Outlander shoots in Scotland including at Wardpark Studios

They reveal that production is heading to Wardpark Studios inCumbernauld, Glasglow for green screen sequences. It’s the same stage space as popular series Outlander, the show just had their wrap party recently leaving the facilities to Marvel.

Marvel is also planning on using Edinborough’s Old Town.

Scenes are said to be shooting in Atlanta in April according to another separate stateside casting call, so it’s looking like having two directors  (The Russo Brothers) working on the films is clearly becoming a massive asset.

Production on Infinity War and Avengers 4 is set to wrap in early September.
