In May, it was reported by THR that Overlord director Julius Avery was in talks to reunite with Bad Robot/Paramount and producer J.J. Abrams for a project titled The Heavy.
It was said to be a subversive take on the superhero genre and more in the thriller genre.
Well, Omega Underground has learned Paramount/Bad Robot is eyeing a fall shoot in Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
This would suggest that Aussie director Julius Avery has most likely closed his deal with the studio to helm the project.
We assume Paramount will give it a release date later next year.
