Yesterday, I tweeted out a gif of Batman villain Black Mask and this was a tease to word of his potential involvement in Birds of Prey.
TheWrap is reporting this is indeed the case and it’s a huge win for fans that have been waiting ages for the baddie to finally get his due on screens.
Next is seeing who they’ll ultimately cast in the role as he could end up in multiple films. Along with heroines Black Canary and Huntress.
David Ayer had teased the the DC Comics villain for his project Gotham City Sirens, but ultimately the film is on hold.
Filming is set to begin on January 15th in Los Angeles. Warner Bros. has yet to announce a release date for Birds of Prey.
