Batman V Superman was my most anticipated film of 2016, and whilst it never proved a hit with the critics or some moviegoers. I left the theatre with a smile from ear to ear. I did however notice more thank a few issues that the film possessed, but the awesomeness of seeing Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman on the screen for the first time ever provided me with one of the best cinematic experiences to date.
Now the film was a bit choppy, mostly so at the beginning and this was down to Snyder and his team having to cut it down for its theatrical cut. This (for me) is where the film suffers most. But the release of the ultimate edition of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice on Blue-ray and digital HD which is 30 minutes longer could clear this up, and maybe even change people’s opinions towards the film. And to tease us with what’s to come from Zack Snyder’s extended version of the superhero showdown Warner Bros (via Collider) have released a new trailer which features new footage and our first glimpse of Jena Malone in her mysterious role.
