The Warner Brothers television series based on the DC Comics heroes continues to build its cast as it moves towards it 2018 premiere.
According to Deadline, actor Ryan Potter has been cast in the role of Beast Boy on the live action Titans series. He will join Brenton Thwaites’ Nightwing, Anna Diop’s Starfire, Teagan Croft’s Raven along with Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly as Hawk and Dove on the series produced by Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schecter. The series will be written by Goldsman, Johns and Berlanti.
As a child, Potter’s Garfield “Gar” Logan contracted the lethal disease, Sakutia, while on an African expedition with his geneticist parents. Treated with an experimental drug, Gar survived but not without developing some bizarre side effects. Along with skin and hair turning permanently green, the wisecracking, fun-loving Beast Boy is able to reshape himself into any animal of any size he can imagine.
Ryan Potter is an actor and martial artist who starred on the Nickelodeon series Supah Ninjas and is the voice of Hiro Hamada in both the Big Hero Six film and the upcoming animated series on Disney XD.
