‘Pennyworth’ has found its young Thomas Wayne in ‘Reign’ star Ben Aldridge. You can read the official character description below.
Thomas Wayne is a young, fresh-faced billionaire hailing from the east coast of the United States. Confident and extremely disciplined, this young aristocrat meets an unlikely business partner in Alfred Pennyworth.
The show follows a young Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), pre-Batman butler days, as a former SAS soldier who starts a security company with Thomas Wayne in 1960s London.
It will air on Epix TV sometime in 2019 with production beginning a week from today at Warner Brother’s Leavesden Studios in the UK.
‘Pennyworth’ hails From ‘Gotham’ creators Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon, but will not be a prequel to the latter. The show will consist of ten episodes.
