Another ominous Marvel Teaser has surfaces following the “Dead No More” teaser we received a few days ago. This time Marvel urges its fans to “Beware” the sting of a mysterious character.
As you can see the image is very yellow and black hinting that it could possibly pertain to a couple of charcters. Many speculated the eariler teaser was in reference to the return of fan favorite X-Men Wolverine. The colors can still lead one to believe this is true but “Best Beware My Sting” doesn’t really fit Wolverine’s character. Its more likely this is a reference to The Wasp or Yellowjacket. The quote is likely a play on Shakespeare and maybe another clue to the final reveal. It’s definitely strange as currently Janet Van Dyne is alive and well in the 616 show finding a connection between this teaser and “Dead No More” may prove more difficult than a dead character returning.
Both teasers could be referring to former Ant-Man Eric O’ Grady who died in “Secret Avengers” in 2012. O’Grady could be returning from the dead as the Yellowjacket, giving credence to both teasers.
Honestly at this point I really don’t know what to think. All signs seem to point to Eric O’ Grady at this point but Marvel has pulled a fast one on us before so who really knows for sure. Personally I don’t think we need another Wolverine in the 616 with X-23 and Old Man Logan currently alive and well, plus I would be okay with seeing the fun loving and heroic Eric O’ Grady return.
