BIG RUMOR: Donald Glover’s Prowler Showing Up In ‘Black Panther 2’?

May 23, 2018

Take the following with a grain of salt but a rumor coming from UK tabloid Metro states that Marvel Studios could be in talks with Donald Glover for a role in Black Panther 2.

The odd part here is that Donald is already part of the MCU and Marvel hasn’t officially announced plans for a Black Panther sequel.

Glover plays Aaron Davis aka The Prowler in Spider-Man: Homecoming making him already part of the MCU. If this turns out to be true it could see him playing Prowler in the movie, a superpowered thief.

As Wakanda is open to the world it makes sense that they could see a new influx of thieves looking to steal their technology.

However, the big alarm for us is that they mention that Michael B. Jordan could be returning, despite Killmonger being deader than a doornail. This makes us slightly skeptical of the reporting. But there could be cameoes via the ancestorial plane or a flashback maybe connecting Killmonger to Davis.

Again, this isn’t terribly crediable at the moment but Glover did help work on the first film and is already in bed with Disney via Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Black Panther doesn’t officially have a writer, director or release date. We do expect to see a sequel after the first film has earned over $1.3 billion.
