For years it’s been back and forth with Bill Murray if he’d be apart of a new Ghostbusters film, to the point he shredded a script and sent it back to the writers, back when Ghostbusters 3 was being resurrected for yet another go-around. This time it’s likely more of a cameo, and Murray has been open to the idea of the mostly female cast in Paul Feig’s new installment. Putting his support behind two of the female leads Kristen Wiig and his St. Vincent co-star Melissa McCarthy.
It’s now being confirmed by Variety that Murray will indeed be involved with the new film, along with his fellow co-star Dan Akryod.
The actor will appear in Sony’s upcoming “Ghostbusters” reboot, Variety has confirmed. Details on his role have not yet been revealed.”
