It’s been officially announced that director Danny Boyle has exited Bond 25 over creative differences.

There had been talk that if EON and Danny Boyle couldn’t agree on John Hodge’s script he would walk. There is very good chance this could have been a contributing factor to the exit.
Filming was expected to begin on December 3rd at Pinewood Studios UK.
A release date had been set for November 8th, 2019.
It’s unknown at this time who they’ll hire to replace Boyle and if his exit will lead to any significant delays to production/release.
However, my money is on director David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water, The Outlaw King) being asked again to direct. He was in the mix to direct before Boyle was hired and now has a large scale film among his credits.
