It looks like Marvel Studios has shrugged it’s previous reputation for low-balling their talent as THR has revealed some of the salaries that their actors are getting and it’s a huge upgrade from the era of Ike Perlmutter.
One of the key deals revealed in the article is that Brie Larson is getting paid $5 million for Captain Marvel and has signed a seven-picture deal with the studio. Which could suggest three solo Captain Marvel movies and at least three Avengers movies (one of them being Avengers 4).
And Brie Larson, whose Oscar win for 2015’s Room figures into her deals, will be paid some $5 million for next year’s Captain Marvel movie (Larson landed a generous payday, but in exchange signed a seven-picture deal that locks her into multiple franchises.)
This would likely cement plans for Captain Marvel 2 and Captain Marvel 3.
UPDATE: It seems Larson is refuting the THR report.
