On Halloween, Captain Marvel Actress Brie Larson wore a Zero Suit Samus costume. This had folks like myself excited for the prospect of a Metroid movie starring Brie.
Her Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Jordan had loosely mentioned to IGN a desire to tackle a Metroid movie over the summer while promoting his Metal Gear Solid movie.
Today, Brie responded on Twitter that she might, in fact, be interested in a movie stating she’d want to make it.
I hope not. I want to make that movie. https://t.co/6ZneOLu2Wh

As far as we know, Nintendo doesn’t have current plans to make a live-action Metroid movie despite a previous attempt by director John Woo years ago.
However, we can’t help but dig the idea of Larson and Vogt-Roberts reuniting for a badass Metroid movie.
