What has been the most critically well received entry into the Cars franchise, Cars 3 directed by Brian Free passed Wonder Woman at the weekend box office taking in $53.3 Million domestically. Patty Jenkin’s instant classic took in $40.7 Million domestically bringing the film’s total up to $571.8 Million World Wide. Cars 3 also took in an additional $21.3 Million overseas bringing the films total gross up to $74.8 Million, with many more foreign markets awaiting the release of the film.
