TheWrap reports that producer Adi Shankar (Castlevania, Dredd) has potentially landed a producing gig with Nintendo to develop a television series based on the iconic fantasy video game franchise Legend of Zelda.
Producer Adi Shankar is in talks to produce a series based on the Nintendo video game series, “The Legend of Zelda,” TheWrap has learned exclusively.
Although, they fail to mention if the series will be live-action or animated (I’ll assume it’s the latter).
An animated series would be much more cost effective and makes sense due to Adi’s recent success with Castlevania. Nintendo also is working on an animated feature film focused on Mario.
