Paramount and Skydance’s upcoming film, under the working title of ‘Ghost Draft,’ now has Edwin Hodge and Mary Lynn Rajskub onboard the cast. Their roles are under wraps.
Hodge was recently in the FX series ‘Mayans M.C.’ and Paramount’s ‘Bumblebee.’ He was also in three films in Blumhouse’s ‘Purge’ franchise, with the first movie, ‘Anarchy,’ and ‘Election Year.’ Next, he will appear in the ABC pilot ‘Triangle,’ which is currently in post-production.
Rajskub is popular for playing Chloe O’Brian in the original series of the FOX franchise ’24.’ Other television credits include FXX’s ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,’ Starz’s ‘The Girlfriend Experience,’ and FOX/NBC’s ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine.’ For film, she starred in Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘Magnolia,’ Jonathan Dayton & Valerie Faris’ ‘Little Miss Sunshine,’ and Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ ‘The Kings of Summer.’
Deadline also reports Seychelle Gabriel (‘The Legend of Korra,’ ‘Get Shorty’), Alexis Louder (‘Black Panther,’ ‘Chicago P.D.’), Alan Trong (‘The Leftovers,’ ‘Alita: Battle Angel’), and newcomer Chibuikem Uche are part of the cast.
Moreover, the rest of the cast and their roles:

- A man drafted to fight in a future war where the fate of humanity relies on his ability to confront his past.

- Ryan Kiera Armstrong (‘The Art of Racing in the Rain,’ ‘It: Chapter Two’)

Additionally, the premise of the sci-fi thriller is below:
“Set in a future where humanity is losing a war against aliens. To turn the tide, scientists draft soldiers from the past to fight the war.”
Meanwhile, Chris McKay (‘Robot Chicken,’ ‘The Lego Batman Movie’) serves as director. The screenplay is from Zach Dean (‘Deadfall,’ ’24 Hours to Live’) and Bill Dubuque (‘The Accountant,’ ‘Ozark’).
Further, the crew, so far, comprises of:

Lastly, filming is targeting a start date of September 10th, and a wrap date of January 16th. Back in April, we at the GWW reported that shooting locations for the film would include Atlanta, Georgia and Iceland. We can also confirm the Dominican Republic is another location.
However, Paramount has yet to give the film a release date.
