Paramount and Skydance’s upcoming film ‘The Tomorrow War,’ which had the working title of ‘Ghost Draft,’ will release December 25, 2020.
Chris Pratt (‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,’ ‘Avengers: Endgame’) plays a man drafted to fight in a future war where the fate of humanity relies on his ability to confront his past. Yvonne Strahovski (‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ ‘The Predator’) portrays a woman that Pratt’s character meets in the future, who has a connection to his past. Ryan Kiera Armstrong (‘The Art of Racing in the Rain,’ ‘It: Chapter Two’) is possibly the daughter of Pratt’s character. J.K. Simmons (‘Veronica Mars,’ ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’) plays the father of Pratt’s character. Keith Powers (‘Straight Outta Compton,’ ‘What/If’) has the role of a military commander.

Lastly, filming is currently underway, with a wrap date of January 16th. Back in April, we at the GWW reported that shooting locations for the film would include Atlanta, Georgia and Iceland. The Dominican Republic is another location.
‘The Tomorrow War’ will go up against Universal’s ‘News of the World,’ and release two days after DreamWorks Animation’s ‘The Croods 2′ and Warner Bros.’ ‘Tom and Jerry.’
