Chris Pirri’s Top 30 Horror Movies: #29 The Human Centipede

Oct 3, 2015

Its October and that means Halloween is almost here. In honor of my favorite holiday of the year I give to you my top thirty horror movies. Now some of these films might be on every list, but some might not. I might even have a film or two that you have never heard of. Just remember this is my top thirty. In other words these films made me cringe or just sent chills up my spine. So with no further ado here is my list.

# 29
The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009)
Directed by: Tom Six

HumanCente 2

This is a film that is not for everyone. It can be very disturbing and not for the weak at heart. It is not gory at all. It is more the image of what is happening and how it is happening that is disturbing.

A crazy surgeon who is known for separating Siamese Twins becomes infatuated with connecting people together. Now here is the part where it gets bizarre and disgusting. He is not connecting them by arms or legs. He is connecting them through their gastric system. I bet right now you are asking yourself, “How is that done”? Well I’m not going to get to graphic here. I will just let you stare at this picture and figure it out for yourself.

HumanCente1

This movie is a train wreck. I don’t mean that in a bad way at all. It is the kind of movie you can’t take your eyes off of. You will not want to turn it off or look away, you won’t be able to help yourself. You simply just want to keep watching to see what the hell will happen next. If you end up liking this film there are two more sequels that get a little more graphic and violent. As you can tell this movie gets the #29 spot on my list simply because it puts a picture in your head that you can never get rid of.
