Feb 15, 2018

Omega Underground first revealed that Paramount’s comic book flick Cowboy Ninja Viking starring Chris Pratt would be shooting in Vancouver over the summer starting in June.

We’ve now learned that Berlin, Germany is another production locale expected for the film.

Germany has become a hot-bed for studio productions recently with Captain America: Civil WarSpider-Man: Homecoming, Atomic Blonde, the untitled Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, and The Girl In The Spider’s Web filming scenes in the European country.

The film sees an assassin (Pratt) that can channel the fighting abilities of the three titular warriors.

Breaking Bad’s Michelle MacLaren is reportedly in talks to direct the comic book flick after previously joining and exiting WB’s Wonder Woman, we have high hopes that the Canadian director will be confirmed.

Paramount has given Cowboy Ninja Viking the release date of June 28th, 2019.
