Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ now has Himesh Patel onboard the cast. However, much like the other actors, his role is unknown. Although, this stands to reason as the teaser trailer is still not online, shrouding the film further in mystery.
Patel made his feature film debut in this year’s ‘Yesterday,’ from director Danny Boyle. Before, he was in the BBC series ‘EastEnders.’ Next, he will appear in Amazon’s ‘The Aeronauts,’ streaming December 6th, and the HBO series ‘Avenue 5,’ premiering in 2020.
Moreover, the rest of the cast members are below:
- Kenneth Branagh (‘Dunkirk,’ ‘Murder on the Orient Express’)
- Michael Caine (‘Interstellar,’ ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’)
- Elizabeth Debicki (‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,’ ‘Widows’)
- Aaron Taylor-Johnson (‘Nocturnal Animals,’ ‘Outlaw King’)
- Dimple Kapadia (‘Bobby,’ ‘Welcome Back’)
- Robert Pattinson (‘Good Time,’ ‘High Life’)
- Clémence Poésy (‘In Bruges,’ ‘Genius: Picasso’)
- John David Washington (‘Ballers,’ ‘BlacKkKlansman’)
Further, the logline of the secretive film is as follows:
“An action epic, filmed on location across seven countries, evolving from the world of international espionage.”
Additionally, the crew comprises of:
- Cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema (‘Interstellar,’ ‘Dunkirk’)
- Composer Ludwig Göransson (‘Black Panther,’ ‘Creed II’)
- Costume designer Jeffrey Kurland (‘Dunkirk,’ ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’)
- Editor Jennifer Lame (‘Frances Ha,’ ‘Hereditary’)
- Production designer Nathan Crowley (‘Dunkirk,’ ‘First Man’)
- Visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson (‘Mad Max: Fury Road,’ ‘Dunkirk’)
Meanwhile, the ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy helmer serves as both writer and director of ‘Tenet.’ Also, there will be a mix of IMAX and 70mm film to bring the story to the big screen.
Lastly, filming is currently underway, while production will wrap this November. So, for locations, we know five of the seven at the moment: Estonia, India, Italy, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
Warner Bros. will release the film on July 17, 2020.
