Overview
Cohere, an enterprise generative AI startup, has raised $270m in a Series C funding round led by Inovia Capital, with participation from Nvidia, Oracle, Salesforce Ventures, and other major players. Cohere focuses on grafting generative AI and natural language processing tools to customer service and other business tools. Cohere uses Google Cloud and its supercomputers to develop its Large Language Models (LLMs) and recently partnered with conversational AI provider, LivePerson, to enhance its services with custom LLMs for customer service and other business needs. The funds raised will help Cohere position companies for success in the next phase of AI products and services that will revolutionise businesses.
