Norwegian director Tommy Wirokla (What Happened To Monday, Dead Snow, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters) is gearing up to begin his next film War Pigs, which stars Colin Farrell.
A post-WWII crime thriller that should be exciting considering a key crew member they’ve just added.
A retired marine’s brother is killed by a multi-national drug cartel and decides to wage war against the cartel to avenge his brother with the help of fellow ex-soldiers who served during WWII.
Omega Underground has learned that veteran stunt coordinator Thomas Shruthers has joined the film.
He’s best known for working closely with director Christopher Nolan.
Struthers’ credits include Inception, The Dark Knight, Dunkirk, X-Men: First Class, and The Dark Knight Rises.
Filming is expected to have already started in Bulgaria and will complete at the end of November.
A release date has yet to be announced.
