CROSSOVER #9
“Meanwhile” part two continues from Crossover #8. What was an adventure storyline changed into a murder mystery with two of the finest detectives ever to grace the pages of comic books along for the ride. When last we saw the dynamic duo (Ryan and Ellie) they both had challenges to face without the assistance of the other. Ryan saw dear old dad, locked up and a confrontation looming and Ellie was caught by Walker and Pilgrim, for questioning. The epic story continues.

THE STORY of crossover #9
Poor Ryan dreading a conversation with “Joker or Carnage” as stated in the final panels of #8, got it way worse. He needs to talk to his dad, Father Lowe. Which turned out to not be as scary as Ryan believed it to be. But, daddy gave some clues to whom the infamous killer is of the comic book celebs. Ellie is interrogated by Walker and Pilgrim but seems to rather interrogate them. The killings continue with another famous author biting the dust. A very familiar but somewhat strange murder weapon is found on the scene.
Art and Style
The art for the series is still on point Shaw and Cunniffe are hitting every single note. What stands out above the rest is that you can sense the vibe of the room before you start reading. This is an incredible feat, as the art carries this from panel to panel.
An opinion-based verdict for Crossover
I continue to find this an amazing book, and would still recommend this 10 out of 10 times. If you find yourself lost in dreams and imagination like me for 95% of the day. Then this is an absolute must. Who does not want to live in a world full of the impossible? This to me is a fantasy coming to life through each panel, each issue. It brings a certain reality to the question of what if?
