As Sam and Dean ride into their thirteenth season of the hit series Supernatural, there is news from the network that those fans might enjoy as well.
It was announced today that Supernatural will be getting a spin-off series titled Wayward Sisters. The series will feature a fan favorite character as well. The planned spin-off will have a backdoor pilot which will air as an episode of Supernatural in its 13th season. The series will star Kim Rhodes reprising her role as Sheriff Jody Mills.
Mills will be in charge of a group of women “orphaned by supernatural tragedy”. There’s no additional casting news at this time, but it stands to reason that her two adopted daughters Claire and Annie would be part of the series as well along with Sheriff Donna.
