Danny Boyle Reportedly Still Attached For ‘Bond 25’ – Looking To Shoot Later This Year

Mar 9, 2018

DailyMail reporter Baz Bamigboye, who first broke the news that director Danny Boyle would be first making an untitled comedic musical (Lily James in talks) for Universal and Working Title has an update concerning Boyle’s involvement with Bond 25. There had been some speculation that making this new film could nix his chances to make the next 007 installment.

He says that Danny is still attached and is planning on filming it later in the year, but is all dependent if EON/MGM approves of John Hodge‘s script. Hodge and Boyle have an extensive working relationship going back to Shallow Grave, and it’s said two are working together on the screenplay.

I have to assume Bond 25 could begin filming between September-December at Pinewood UK.

This will end Daniel Craig’s Bond contract leading to a new actor for Bond 26 and beyond.

The untitled film is set for release on November 8th, 2019.
