According to Hollywood Reporter, Margot Robbie is reprising her role as Harley Quinn in the upcoming DC film, Gotham City Sirens, a project which will circle around the female villains of the DC Universe. David Ayer is set to direct and produce the film.
Margot has previously expressed interest in doing a Harley Quinn film since the release of Suicide Squad last Spring. There had been talks of Batgirl and the Birds of Prey making an appearance. No word on whether this is still in the cards.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet is penned to write the script, who’s other projects include the Tomb Raider reboot and Sherlock Holmes 3.
Now this is the part where we start speculating who will make an appearance in the film? Will it be the Gotham City Sirens we saw in the comics which included Poison Ivy, Harley and Catwoman? If so, who would you like to see play Ivy and Selena?
