DC Comics Orders 13-Episode ‘Doom Patrol’ Live-Action Series For Streaming Service

Today, Variety has revealed that DC Comics is adding yet another live-action series to their upcoming streaming service DC Universe. According to their report Arrow, The Flash and Riverdale producer Greg Berlanti will be bringing Doom Patrol to the streaming service.

It will feature outcast heroes of the DC Universe Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). At one point in the comics even Beast Boy was part of the Doom Patrol. It’ll be interesting if the other live-action series Titans will crossover with Doom Patrol in the future. Production is expected to begin later this year.
