‘DC Super Pets’ Animated Film Shifts to May 22, 2022

May 22, 2019

Warner Bros. Animation has moved ‘DC Super Pets’ to May 22, 2022, out of its original May 21, 2021 date. This was likely due to the recent dating of Lionsgate’s ‘John Wick: Chapter 4,’ which landed on the same May 2021 slot.

Moreover, the premise is below:

“A crime-fighting team made up of Superman’s dog Krypto, Batman’s dog Ace The Bat-Hound, and Supergirl’s pet cat, Streaky.”

Further, Jared Stern (‘Happy Anniversary’) and Sam Levine (‘Robot and Monster’) serve as directors. The screenplay is from Stern and John Whittington, who worked together on the ‘The Lego Batman Movie’ and ‘The Lego Ninjago Movie.’

Meanwhile, the film is currently the only one set for the Memorial Day Weekend.
